Dear SSN Member, Dear Neuroscientist working in Switzerland

 

The Annual Meetings of the SSN have been a fixed point of our professional calendars for many years. These meetings are testimony to the irreplacable value of personal interactions in a rapidly developing field of science. Filled with excellent neuroscience, the SSN provides each year the venue for meeting peers, providing and receiving advice on experiments and analysis, and finding out about the newest research labs. This tradition was sadly interrupted last year. In 2022, at a time at which international travel may still be complicated, a national meeting of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience seems ideally suited to restart what we are all longing for: meeting each other in 3D. 

Therefore, on behalf of the SSN Council, I am very happy to announce the

SSN Annual Meeting 2022

taking place on January 29, 2022 at the University of Fribourg!

Please take note of the following points

Registration for the SSN Annual Meeting 2022 opens on December 1st, 2021!

  • You must be a SSN member to register. Participation is free for SSN members.
  • For more info on program and admission, click here and check the flyer here
  • Abstract submission opens on January 1st, 2022
  • Do not miss the Deadline: January 14, 2022
  • Participation is free for SSN members.
  • The meeting provides a half-day credit for continuous education in animal experimentation
  • Poster presenters -> take a chance to win one of our poster prizes
  • Get notified on latest initiatives by ALBA, eBrain and SELs

Apply now for the SSN Best Publication Award

The SSN offers, once a year, publication awards to young SSN members in three different domains of neuroscience. Deadline: December 21, 2021.

The Young Swiss Society for Neuroscience (ySSN) will hold its annual Early-Career Researchers Symposium on Friday January 28th, 2022, University of Fribourg, Campus Peroles with the overarching topic “Ontogeny of cognition and gender bias in neuroscience research”.

Master students, PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows are greatly encouraged to register and apply for a short talk or a poster presentation here

  • Submission deadline for abstracts: January 12th, 2022.
  • Registration deadline to attend without an abstract: January 21st, 2022
