Jump-the-FENS

Students of the Lemanic doctoral school in Neuroscience created the idea to organize during the FENS forum three evenings at the lake side where the student participants would get together. The three nights were organized by Arnaud Bisetti, Pierre Mégevand, Lorenzo Poglia, Charles Quairiaux and Dragana Viceic.  They found a place where the three evenings (13 – 15.07.08) could be organized. With the support of the local organizing committee, they managed to reserve the “Plage de ONU”, a beautiful spot on the lake side, close to public transport and ideally equipped for the purpose of the social gatherings during summer time. On this site, students met while having a drink and some food (including “raclette”) in a relaxing atmosphere dominated by the view on the lake that is reinforced by music and a light show. Every evening was fully booked and students had to wait to get entrance.
