Annual Meetings

The annual meeting is one of the most important activities of the Swiss Society for Neuroscience. The meeting is open for members and non-members and is a platform for scientific interaction of people interested in Neuroscience. Most often the SSN annual meeting is a Joint Meeting with a Clinical Society. The focus of the meeting is that young scientist and postdoctoral fellows can show and discuss their data. This is achieved by presenting your data in the poster session. 10 Abstracts are chosen for Datablitz presentation giving the young scientist the opportunity to show their data in a short presentation. In addition, a price of the three best posters are given. The meeting takes place in one of the University Cities in an yearly tournament:

The SSN Annual Meeting 2010 took place on March 12-13, 2010 in Lausanne with around 400 participants and 212 posters.

Best Poster Awards

The Volker-Henn Best Poster Award distinguishes the three best posters presented during the Annual meeting.
