SSN-IBRO fellowship - General Rules
Eligibility

Candidates should be younger than 45 years at the time of the application and should have an M.D. or Ph.D. degree, or equivalent. With comparable qualification, preference will be given to citizens from under-privileged countries.

Application

The application must include :

  • Application form (download)
  • A summary (max. 3 pages) of the research project
  • A letter of support from the host laboratory, stating that it will provide with laboratory space and research expenses
  • A curriculum vitae and list of publication of the candidate

 

The call for applications for the 2010 SSN-IBRO Fellowship dead-line was January 15th, 2010 and is now closed.

 

 The call for applications for the 2011 SSN-IBRO Fellowship will be announced summer 2010.

Selection

A committee of Council members of the SSN will evaluate the applications and select potential candidates. All applications including our evaluation will be sent to the Swiss National Science Foundation for further evaluation and decision. All applicants and their host laboratories are to be informed in writing about the outcome.
