The fellowship is sponsored jointly by the Swiss Society for Neuroscience and the International Brain Research Organization.
It is awarded yearly on a competitive basis, and supports a foreign post-doctoral fellow for one year to perform basic or clinical research in a Swiss Academic Institution (see General rules). The amount of the fellowship is CHF 55'000.- (tax free). Details of the regulations are found on the SNF website “forms, regulations and directives” for stipends: www.snf.ch.
